For tricky stuff involving REAL drafting I use PC and import the sucker into VW as nothing can compare with PC + WT for pure drafting something I avoid whenever possible. I use a combination of 2D & 3D capabilities to crank out CD's with the min. The "model view" can be turned into 4 elevation on a separate sheet still linked to the plans and updated as they do. In the layer set-up once you specifiy a "z" height for your plan sheets (floor to ceiling distance) you are set even if you never generate other views. Yes there is the 3D stuff which I use to generate interior perspectives, on occassion. I like the automatic generation of schedules (finish, door, window, lighting fixtures, etc.) and the spread sheet function. I especially use the parametric symbols which give me plan and elevation (& 3d) views of typical objects.
I prefer vw for working drawings because, as I've said, I'm lazy.
